Hi, I’m Gisela. I’m a children’s author and literacy specialist. I write engaging books for kids that make them feel that reading is worth their effort and provide them with one-on-one therapy so they can read, spell and write.

I’d love to work with you to get reluctant readers reading.

I’m passionate about helping all kids enjoy reading. I use evidence-based methods to make reading possible, even if it once felt impossible.

I provide Multisensory Structured Language Therapy and specialist literacy tutoring to children with language-based learning difficulties, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, autism, and language disorders. I also guide parents and consult to teachers and literacy advocates.

When twelve-year-old Nell crashes her sailboat into a submerged house in the lake, she stumbles into a treasure hunt that plunges her into a generations-old family feud. Things begin to take a sinister turn as the adults get involved, and Nell has no choice but to team up with her neighbour and family rival, Charlie.
